If you are new to the state you will need to get a Pennsylvania driver 's license, the PA DMV website has great information for newcomers to the state. To get your license, you will need to appear in person at one of the Drivers License Centers, To find the DMV Center closest to you, Click Here. If you just need to change your address on your license, click here to do that online. Registering a vehicle, is a bit different. While you can change the address online at the PA DMV website for vehicles currently registered in Pennsylvania, you will need to go to an independent Tag Office if your vehicle is registered in another state.
